I think it’s all about people.

I believe outstanding products, websites, and marketing materials are created by understanding how the target audience thinks, what they need, and what they want.

I believe that to stand out you need to know your audience really well and that’s where my user experience and research background come in.

I work to understand the audience, their needs, goals, and vocabulary, and make sure my team does the same. After that, it’s time to get down to the writing.

I like to take time along the way for an occasional cup of tea, a bad pun or two, and some usability testing to check out my assumptions and adjust for reality.

In short I:

  • Understand the customer.
  • Speak and write their language.
  • Write and design what they need.

That’s what I do. Plain and simple.
