Here’s a selection of screens from the set-up workflow for a parental control application that allows parents to monitor their kids’ device usage.
This is a pretty good example of how we tried to create a more human connection in this app without getting in the way of the task at hand. Notice how we acknowledge new users vs existing users in the first 2 screens, then stay human without getting too chatty in subsequent screens as the task gets more complex.
